The event is held under the honorary patronage of the Rector of the AGH University of Science and Technology,Prof. Tadeusz Uhl, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics in AGH was the Chairman of the Congress. The IFToMM World Congress is held every 4 years in a different place in the world. The subject matter of the event is related to broadly understood robotics, and the congress itself is one of the most prestigious scientific meetings in the world related to this field. The International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science (IFToMM) was established in 1969 in Zakopane and Krakow. Currently, the organization associates members from 54 countries, and this year’s edition of the congress is also associated with the 50th anniversary of the founding of IFToMM.
