30 June – 4 July 2019: the 15th IFToMM World Congress. The event is held under the honorary patronage of the Rector of AGH University of Science and Technology; the Congress Chair is Prof. Tadeusz Uhl, PhD, Eng., from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics at AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. The IFToMM World Congress takes place every four years in a different location around the world. The event’s theme relates to robotics in the broadest sense, and the congress itself is one of the world’s most prestigious scientific gatherings in this field. The International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science (IFToMM) was founded in 1969 in Zakopane and Kraków. The organisation currently has members from 54 countries worldwide, and this year’s congress also marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of IFToMM.
